the communication. Gripping her PADD in hand, she increases her pace,
breathing slowly and remaining calm even with the situation growing

<br style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">[Bridge]</span><div class="im"><br><br>Ensign Marie took the PADD and stepped back with a soft whisper, her<br>
demeanor turning pale and shaky as her straight back tensed and her eyes<br>moved to her feet as if a trained reaction to someone who is her superior<br>snapping on her for wrong doings, "Yes Mistress". She then obediently moved<br>
to a small distance from the chief of security and stood quietly until<br>needed.<br><br><br>Toby had been uncertain what to make of what he was picking up off the new<br>ensign, her refering to K`y as Mistress however caused both brows to vanish<br>
into his hair and to try to get the captain to not blow her stack, he leaned<br>in and whispered in her ear, "Gently Captain, something is terribly wrong<br>here, I don't think this young woman should have ever graduated or been<br>

me as Captain, Ma'am or Sir." Her eyes shot to DuMont to get a handle on the<br>situation; this was not the time for this. Not when people were dying and<br>her crew were in a perilous situation. "Find something for the ensign to<br>
do," and she thought but did not say, 'preferably off the bridge.'<br><br><br>The doors to the bridge opened yet again, Vilqa spun to see if it was Nix or<br>someone else.<br><br>Marie gulped but tapped her fingers on the back of her neck and centered<br>
herself, her demeanor changing and she again looked stoic and confident as<br>she stood at attention waiting until needed and to await her orders. Her<br>eyes move to the door and look as they open.<br><br>"Reporting for duty Captain" said Ensign Fen, feeling a sudden jolt in her<br>
stomach.<br><br>K`ylana nodded, "To your station Ensign. Lieutenant Sulp you are relieved<br>for now." The two engineers exchanged positions and the Captain once more<br>waited for Nix.<br><br></div><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Kylee
reached the bridge a short time later and stepped out of the turbolift,
only slightly out of breath from her jog. Her eyes sought out the
captain, making her way over to the woman, eyes glancing about to see
who else was there as well. "Captain, I believe I have determined the
cause behind the sun's solar flares, and perhaps a way to slow the

<br>The crystal blue eyes of the executive officer looked over and took in<br>
Ensgin Fen. Years of practice kept the thought in his head from finding it's<br>way to his mouth, ~Another one? When it rains it pours.~ Though he knew of<br>the new crew coming in, he didn't quite expect them to show up on the<br>
bridge, with one of them being the equivalent of a psychological shuttle<br>wreck, and the other well time would tell. He just hoped she didn't put the<br>captain in a worse mood. The mission was enough.<br><br>Ensign Marie saw the engineer enter and move to the captain then to her<br>
station and stood out of the way to stand guard until her commanding officer<br>ordered different, her eyes scanning the bridge trying to feel everything<br>out and put it to memory, her mind going over the fact she has upset the<br>
captain her face a look of worry but trying to hide it behind a mask of<br>confidence as she stood straight and waited for further orders.<br><br>Jason turned to his subordinate, disappointed. He spoke to her in a quiet<br>
tone. "When I am on the bridge, that does not mean its time to 'check in'.<br>For now, go to security and begin weapons maintenance. And for future<br>refernce, report to the captain and executive officer before reporting to<br>
me. Understood?"<br><br>"Yes Sir", Ensign Marie said and turned a bit pale while lowering her eyes<br>at another scolding as she obediently bowed her head and moved to the<br>turbolift and pressed the button to go down, the sound of the doors closing<br>
hushing the whimper she lets out as she goes down to the task at hand.<br><br>As she left, Jason turned around to face the captain and exec. "I apologize.<br>It wont happen again"<br><br>The Captain nodded slowly, "Thank you DuMont." She then took a moment<br>
to calm herself before continuing to DuMont, "Contact the USS Mistral and<br>request their assistance to aid in evacuation for those who are willing to<br>leave."<br><br>Jason nodded. "Aye Captain" he said, typing a message, which read: "USS<br>
Mistral, this is the USS Vimyridge, requiring assistance in the evacuation of<br>civilians planetside. Please respond"<br><br><TBC><br></div>
