I've posted it as a partial due to Saladin being away for a few days.>><br>
<br>Vilqa entered the lounge, it was a long tiring day that started at 0500 and lasted to nearly 2100. It wasn't until she left her <span style="background-repeat: repeat; background-color: transparent;"><span><span>ready room</span></span></span> than
she truly realized how hungry she was. Walking into a quite busy lounge
she was shocked and yet pleased at the same time to see so many people
there at least attempting to retain some sort of normalcy. She
approached a replicator and got herself a bowl of <span style="background-repeat: repeat; background-color: transparent;"><span>New England style clam chowder</span></span> inside a carved out sourdough bun and searched for a location to take a seat while her soup was still steaming hot.<br>
<br></div> Katerina sat alone in a corner table picking at her plate
of food not feeling very hungry but knew she'd better eat something.
her mind wandered to recent events in the holodeck more so the strides
she'd made to put the whole Cugino mess behind her. though she was
still concerned over her friendship with Nick.</div>
<div><br></div></div><div><span>Saladin</span> was back in the lounge again. He gave
an internal sigh; it was more difficult than it might at first seem to
try and break out of a routine that was tied to study, research and
genuine solitariness. Crowds of people just set him on edge. "Hmmm" he
thought to himself, "Perhaps that is why I sought out the stars, they
seemed less crowded."<div><br>
<br>Making her way over Vilqa spotted Wilkinson and decided to change
course toward the woman, "May I?" Her foot hooked the leg of an empty
chair at the doctor's table.<br><br></div></div><div> Kat
looked up from her plate, a little surprised that the Captain was
addressing her. she gave her a light smile though still had alot of
things weighing heavily on her mind. "be my guest Captain" she said.
Other than shortly after Rose Blake was born she hadn't had much
contact with her outside of duty.<div>
<br><br>"Thank you Commander." The part klingon offered a partial smile
which was, in the scheme of things as good as it was going to get. "How
are things holding up for you?"<br><br></div> "well things are
progressing." she told her trying to sound positive about her strides
to put the incident a few months ago behind her. "I mean I'm able to
walk into sickbay now without shaking like a leaf, though I do still
have work to do on that." she told her. she reached up and massaged the
back of her neck in an attempt to relieve some the tension she was
still feeling. "and how are you Captain?" she asked. <br>
<br></div></div><div>"Baby steps, Doctor." K`ylana nodded,
"Has Doctor Blake spoken to you about an away mission planet side?" The
Captain queried before answering the question posed to her, "Other than
the physical drain of long hours which each of us are having to endure
I am well." She glanced about the lounge a few moments to see who else
was about, not that she didn't want to be in Wilkinson's company, she
had chosen to sit there; but to simply be constantly aware of her
surroundings and those gathered around her.<br><br> Kat nodded. "I know Captain." she said as she looked around making
note of her surroundings. she nibbled a bit of what was on her plate
while she listened to the Captain. "it's good to hear you are well
ma'am" she said "despite the stresses and such." she added. "yes
Doctor Blake did mention something about an away mission. but I don't
recall if I was being considered to be sent or not as she also
mentioned setting up additional treatment areas in one of the shuttle
bays." she told her as she reached for her glass of tea and took a sip.
<br><br>"I suppose we'll have to see what the doctor decides in the end." K`ylana then smiled as she heard Marcus.<br>

<div class="im">Marcus
was looking for a seat, he wasn't eating, hadn't been intending to stay
long at all, he would eat and drink back in his own room later. But he
had promised the counselor he would attempt to interact with others;
indeed, he had promised himself. Then he spied K'ylana and couldn't
help the brief smile that he flashed her way. He moved a couple of
steps to the right and saw she was sat with Wilkinson. He gave it just
a moment of thought and then walked quickly with large purposeful
strides, towards their table. "I hope I'm not interrupting?"<br><br>"Hello
Marcus. Of course not," she lightly kicked out a char, "Would you like
to have a seat?" She glanced to Kat, "Have you had the pleasure to meet
Doctor Katerina Wilkinson?"<br><br></div></div>
Kat looked up when she heard the Captain speak to commander Saladin.
she recalled meeting him shortly after he came aboard but hadn't seen
much of him since. she looked in his direction. "no you're not
interrupting Commander , you're welcome to join us if you'd like." she
said.<br><br><br></span></font>
