      Nick had been given his orders, and he immediately responded, after 
the
      initial, 'aye ma'am' he was already heading away from the science lab 
and
      tapping his comm badge. "Reed to Doctor Blake," he said simply.

      Cait looked up from the medkit she was packing and tapped her 
combadge.
      "Doctor Blake here. How can I help Mister Reed?"

      "What did you require from security?" he asked, "I have a team ready 
and I'm
      assuming you needed something different for the trip with the cargo 
bays,
      then
      something else with your team planetside?" he paused, it had been a 
while
      since
      he'd been on an away mission... it'd be a nice diversion.

      "Can you meet me in my office? I'd like to have Doctor Wilkinson in on 
the
      planning?" Cait sent back.

      Nick scowled deeply at that, "I suppose so..." he said, "Will she be
      accompanying
      the awayteam?" he asked as he made his way to the turbolift.

      "We'll discuss all that when you get here." Cait said.She signed off 
with
      Reed and commed Kat. "Doc Blake to Wilkinson. Will you please come to 
my
      office." She knew she was pushing the woman but she had to make sure 
Kat
      wouldn't go bugnuts planetside.

      Kat was in her quarters doing some calming exercises when she heard 
her
      combadge. tapping it she responded. "Wilkinson here.......I can be 
there in
      a few." she said aloud. she was confident that she'd made enough 
strides in
      her situation that she could indeed handle an away mission. the last 
report
      on her mother's failing health had been somewhat positive though she 
wasn't
      out of the woods yet she'd more or less hold on until Kat could get 
there.
      as for dealing with her attack she was finally able to go into sickbay
      without shaking like a leaf she knew that had to count for something
      positive.

      Nick sighed softly... running a hand over his eyes slowly. "On my way,
      Doc... Reed out." he said, entering the turbolift. "Sickbay..." he 
said.
      Wouldn't take him all that long to get from the science labs to 
sickbay
      itself. He really wasn't looking forward to potentially working with 
Kat
      again... especially not after that incident in the holodeck. She 
called for
      his help... for a simulation... just to get him to come. He was a bit 
angry
      about that still. But it hadn't gone on any report. It was just 
between
      the two of them. He felt his jaw clench lightly, before he remembered 
that
      the good Doctor Blake, would be able to pick up his emotions. He 
promptly
      squelched them. Then stepped from the lift into the corridor, heading
      toward the sickbay itself.


      Kat headed into sickbay thinking back to the simulation she'd run. she
      felt like she had no choice and she knew damn well if she'd have come 
out
      and asked Nick to help her he wouldn't. he'd barely said two words to 
her
      since he'd faced Cugino in the security office. She thought of the 
upcoming
      away mission knowing it'd probably be her chance to prove she was back
      regardless of where she stood with Reed he had every right to be upset 
with
      her she'd called on him under false pretenses though she'd never do it
      again. She took on a reserved and professional demeanor burrying any 
and all
      emotion where both her mother and Nick were concerned as she entered 
Cait's
      office.

      Cait looked up, raising an eyebrow at the emotions she could feel Kat 
trying
      to hide but didn't say anything. She"d watch how things panned out. 
"Mister
      Reed should be here shortly."

      "Actually I'm right here, ma'am," he said, nodding toward Kat as he 
entered
      the sickbay.
      "Doctor..." he said in way of greeting. His tone cool, levelled, his
      emotions either nonexistant
      or just frigid. Might have gotten better luck reading the emotion of a 
wall.
      He looked toward the
      CMO expectantly, he had already asked her what she needed, all he 
needed was
      for her to tell
      him.

      "I need to make sure that anyone coming up via shuttle craft gets 
scanned
      for radiation. That goes for both crew and refugees. The other thing 
we need
      is the cargo bay we've been assigned converted to a living area. We'll 
need
      security for that and when we start bringing refugees up." Cait looked 
at
      the pair. "I'd like the two of you to work on those things."

      Kat raised a brow, she had something to prove with this mission and 
would
      focus all her energy into getting things done. the old Kat was well on 
her
      way back though she knew she shouldn't have let the Cugino thing 
affect her
      like she did. now that was behind her and maybe she could return to 
her
      duties after the mission. "yes ma'am" she said acknowledging the 
assignment.

      "Excellent, but as I said before, I want you planetside with me." Cait
      said.

      Nick nodded, "I can get the teams prepared for that easily enough," he 
said
      simply,
      "Anything else you'll need from us, Doctor?" he asked after a few 
moments.

      "I believe so. Just be ready for anything. Never can tell what will 
happen
      with civilian refugess." Cait said quietly.

      Kat nodded "we'll be ready." she stated quickly glancing to Nick 
briefly.
